Ever since we found our home in Colorado, Hadley loves to walk down the street from our “new house” (several times a day even) to visit the horses that live nearby. We moved just as fall was coming to an end so we got to see some of the beautiful weather, but pretty much all the leaves had fallen and it was starting to snow more and more often. She wants to walk there and sometimes I tell her we can’t today, it’s too cold. We drive past them on our way in and out and ask how they’re doing, bring them apples and make sure they have their horse blankets on. I know it’s a bit early in the season to say I can’t…
Iceland Travels | Colorado and Travel Photographer | Alison Epps Photography
Would it just suffice to say I can’t possibly tell all the stories and memories created on this once-in-a-lifetime trip, that you’ll have to go see for yourself? Iceland is truly out of this world crazy beautiful. Saying that around every turn was another picture isn’t even an accurate description. We had 3 photographers on this trip, so at each corner we had 20 different beautiful captures. Everything posted below is a combination of 35mm, medium format film, and a handful of digital for the situations that were super wet, specifically the geyser and the glacier hike. Below all of them are the fun phone pictures I had to include too! Speaking of which, the glacier hike… I am still not sure how the guys…
Lindsey + Don | Pensacola Beach Destination Wedding | Colorado Wedding Photographers
Lindsey and Don had one of the most stunning beach weddings that I have ever photographed in Pensacola, FL, and trust that I have photographed my share of seaside weddings living on the great big peninsula that is Florida. I got to work with one of the most fantastic coordinators ever, Emily with Sweet Pea Events, who made the most of the day and planned accordingly all the way from Seattle so the timeline was flawless. I got to photograph Lindsey and Don in their hometown of Dallas back in April for their engagement session and we had a blast touring the botanical gardens at the Dallas Arboretum. Be sure to check out all of those lovely photographs here. One of the things that made…
Rebecca + Greg | Winter Park, Florida Backyard Wedding | Destination Fine Art Wedding
Rebecca and Greg are a fairytale couple and their Winter Park, Florida backyard wedding was nothing but a joyous occasion. Rebecca’s middle name is Joy and it just oozes out of her. You can see the it on their faces as the day was full of laughter as they focused their minds on their God-centered marriage. She was SO pumped for their first look that they didn’t do your typical walk-up-and-tap-him-on-the-shoulder, they RAN! They bolted as fast as they could into each others arms. The ceremony and reception took place in her parent’s back yard in Winter Park. They danced the night away by the pool, serving none other than the best barbecue in town – 4 Rivers Catering. Below you can read Rebecca’s fun…
Kester Family | Savannah Family Photographer | Savannah Botanical Gardens
That pretty lady there, that’s Chelsea. I met Chelsea when I first moved to Savannah. I decided to get bangs one day just because, new move, new hair. Well, I had to google everything since I didn’t know anyone in the city to ask for recommendations. One day sitting in my home while Brett was at work I just googled hair salon and it turned out there was one literally around the corner from me. So I walked in, paid $7 and got some pretty banging bangs. (See what I did there?) With all of the upkeep that comes with the fun new fringe on my forehead I frequented the salon, making friends with the girl who rocked my hair. That was Chelsea. (If you’re…
