Y’all it has seriously been my dream to photograph a maternity session on this Jekyll Island’s Driftwood Beach since the day I first discovered it on the coast of Georgia. I’ve done other types of shoots here but THIS was my dream session, and it was for one of my very best friends, to boot! This gorgeous mama-to-be took care of me throughout my entire pregnancy, and the stressful weeks of learning how to be a mama to a newborn. Ashley and Tommy had a spectacular New Years Eve wedding at the Vinoy in St. Petersburg, Florida.  I was more than honored to capture this beautiful evening ceremony for many reasons. Shortly into the wedding planning Ashley’s father passed away unexpectedly. They honored him in such a beautiful way — he wanted to do something amazing with fireworks since it was a NYE wedding and he was a huge firework fanatic.
