I absolutely adore photographing family sessions. This sweet family was getting ready to welcome their 5th member, Quentin ( the name actually means fifth, how cool! ). They are a special family to me because, Melissa is my sister!! YEP! These are my nephews Ashton and Owen. It was great to get some maternity photographs of Melissa with the rest of the family included, which we had not done with her previous two children. Photographing children is always a little bit of a challenge when they are at a certain age, and for the most part, the best shots are when you just stop posing and let them be themselves!! My nephews are a particular challenge to photograph being that their T.T. (me) is the one they’re expected to sit still for, when we’re so used to goofing off ;)
