In light of my recent move last year to Tampa, FL I am pulling some pretty gems from my archives and taking  a moment to blog some killer weddings photographed over on this coast of the Sunshine State. This wedding was out in St. Petersburg, FL. Hollie and Jackson were such a fairytale couple. Sweet as could be, very easy going and she was such a gorgeous bride. Their wedding was on 11-11-11. :) In taking a moment to go back through their wedding photos I realized not only have I been in business on my own now for 9 years, but I have been photographing weddings for 11 year!! Dang..

I wanted to take a moment to relive one of my all time favorite weddings from 2011. I was learning a bit about my off camera flash and posing for dramatic flare and we had SO much fun out on the rocks. It has become one of my favorite shots for advertising. Everywhere I have lived was near a coast, so I have LOVED photographing sunsets this way ever since. Give me a daring bride, not afraid to climb a rock or two and we are golden! Literally!

Hollie didn’t hire me but for maybe 5 hours of coverage, but we got a huge variety of portraits in that amount of time. Timelines matter people!! In the hour before sunset we made it over to a gorgeous beach area got some natural lighting, dramatic sunsets and some gorgeous silhouettes. Made it back to the reception for some fun dancing and emotional speeches. Oh, and be sure to check out that B.A. shot on Jackson’s motorcycle. Also a favorite of my portfolio images.
