As a Colorado Wedding Photographer, I always love when my previous wedding clients and friends turn into future family sessions down the road. How sweet is this Boulder, Colorado family and newborn session? Let me introduce you to Kristina, Josh and baby Warner. I had the honor of photographing this brand new momma a few weeks after baby Warner was born. I documented their wedding several years back with my friend Rachel V. and their wedding was super unique for several reasons. Kristina and Josh actually sold their house, cashed in their retirements, and sold everything they owned to travel the world for an entire year after there wedding as a honeymoon. Can you imagine a year long honeymoon traveling to 31 countries and 6 continents? They called…
Virginia Destination Wedding | St. Petersburg, Florida Wedding Photographer | Alison Epps Photography
A few posts back I mentioned a new project that I was super excited about but it was still in the works so I was going to have to share more about it later. Well, I’m still working on figuring it out and exactly where I want to go with it but I figure I will share a few tidbits about it. It started when I was in Colorado in August over my daughters first birthday. Colorado is such a gorgeous state for photographs!! The landscape photography niche out there has always been in the back of my mind. But I am not a landscape photographer. I’m drawn to people. We went to Garden of the Gods and my husband snapped a quick shot of…
2016 Goals and Dreams | Dunedin Wedding Photographer | Alison Epps Photography
I sat down this morning with my cup of coffee since my daughter decided to sleep in incredibly late leaving me a bit of unexpected quiet this morning. I don’t really do “New Year’s Resolutions”, but I make lists of things I’d like to be better about. I do this randomly throughout the year when things are not necessarily going as smoothly as they should. Well I’ve been making personal goal lists, business goals, lists of changes I’d like to see in myself as a wife and mother, and also lists of new places I want to explore this year. Today I focused on my 2016 business goals. Most photographers have lists that include getting destination weddings, booking their most expensive collections and lots and…
Natalie + Alex | University of Tampa Christmas Engagement Session | Tampa Wedding Photographer
I just had to get this post up before Christmas since Natalie and Alex decided to incorporate the holiday into their engagement session. They are getting married in 2017 in Missouri but wanted to do their engagement session while they were both here for the holidays with Alex’s family. The University of Tampa was a PERFECT backdrop with all of the lights and wreaths and fun decor. I told these two at the end of their session that they will absolutely have stunning wedding pictures with all the laughter and emotion they bring out in one another. I will you both all the best and have a beautiful Christmas you two!
Jami + Irvin Wedding | Winter Park Civic Center Wedding | St. Petersburg, Florida Wedding Photographer
On December 5th, I had the honor of photographing Jami and Irvin’s wedding at the Winter Park Civic Center. From the moment we met I instantly knew it was a match made in heaven. This couple truly put God front and center as they made their commitment to each other and to Him. They chose not to do a first look, rather they held hands as Irvin kept his eyes closed and then he said a prayer with Jami before the ceremony. The rain was on and off drizzling all day, but as they decided to stick with the plan to be married outside the weather held it together for such a beautiful ceremony, and the lighting just after the rain was oh so pretty!…
