I just had to get this post up before Christmas since Natalie and Alex decided to incorporate the holiday into their engagement session. They are getting married in 2017 in Missouri but wanted to do their engagement session while they were both here for the holidays with Alex’s family. The University of Tampa was a PERFECT backdrop with all of the lights and wreaths and fun decor. I told these two at the end of their session that they will absolutely have stunning wedding pictures with all the laughter and emotion they bring out in one another. I will you both all the best and have a beautiful Christmas you two!

This destination family session for Kristine and Jeff was an absolute dream. They contacted me to do a shoot for their first anniversary!! How fun? You don’t need a wedding, baby or special event in life to take fun pictures. I love that they value taking the time to do portraits throughout their life together. :) Baseball was something that meant a lot to them so we went to the stadium for some fun on the field and in the stands. We also walked around the park and downtown for a lot of fun shots there too.

As I sit here watching out my window dreaming about being on the boat on a nice warm summer day, it is doing what it does best in Florida during the summer… it’s raining. I’ve always lived in humid/rainy area’s so of course I am used to it. But Tampa is different. In Orlando, we could bet on a late afternoon shower almost daily. In Savannah we had big storms that would surprise us but mostly they were just morning drizzles. Here in Tampa, it could rain 3, 4, sometimes 5 separate occasions throughout the day. I like the rain. I like having an excuse to curl up indoors and relax every once in a while. But it just so happens we bought a boat last week…

Katie + Deleno | St. Petersburg Wedding Photographer | Safety Harbor Engagement

Since the recent move to the Tampa / St. Petersburg area it has been so fun discovering all the little towns nearby and their hidden gems. Katie and Deleno had a fantastic engagement session in downtown Safety Harbor. Check out the fun spots we found just walking around exploring this great city. I love how playful they were. My favorite thing was how Deleno would kiss the tip of her nose..(I did not ask him to do that) and my second favorite thing was how Katie would giggle afterwards. I am SO looking forward to their wedding at Innisbrook Golf Resort coming up in October.
