French Styled Shoot | Brockington Hall |Tampa Wedding Photographer Alison Epps

I recently had the honor of working with some of Savannah’s greatest wedding vendors, putting together a fun and elegant styled shoot. I love all things French, in fact right around this time last year I was walking around Marie Antoinette’s estate in the middle of Versailles. Everything was of course over the top, which is how we wanted our shoot! What better setting than Brockington Hall? It has the charm of a french estate with gold trimmings and large mirrors and chandeliers. I can’t James and Liz from Joann’s Florist enough for all the hard work they did. They provided the table settings and chairs, bouquets and centerpieces (multiple bouquets.. 3 to be exact..), and designed our scenes for the dessert table arrangements. Not to mention, they did their best to make sure I didn’t fall off a chair while trying to photograph everything. ;)

Heather Ferguson of Beyond Beautiful by Heather is actually the master mind behind most of the shoot. Much of this was put together through her creativity and inspiration. On top of coordinating most of the shoot, she also did the hair and make up on our model, Evie Williams, and we had two breathtaking looks on our model. The gorgeous wedding gowns and veils provided by Mary Ellen with Love the Dress.

One thing we knew right away when in the planning stages of our photo shoot was that we had to have an amazing dessert table with every dessert imaginable. Who doesn’t love french delectables? OF COURSE we had to have some french macaroons… and we just so happen to have Maison de Macarons here in Savannah and then generously provided us with some tasty treats, although I have to admit I didn’t get to go home with any from the shoot as they were all eaten up before I walked out the door!! Nothing a little trip to one of their storefronts can’t fix. :) Also on the dessert table we had a gorgeous cake by Rum Runners. The detail on that cake was stunning. They also surprised us with a lavender blueberry pie, which I did get to sample… yum!  We had Cake Pops by Maggie too. She put a lot of work into the detail on those as you can see. Who doesn’t love a good cake pop? And we also had cupcakes by Gigi’s Cupcakes provided for our dessert table as well. My assistant and I didn’t make it out of the store without gobbling our own cupcake down first, the smell of the icing was too irresistible.

I am one lucky photographer to have worked with such talent, but also these vendors made the shoot so much fun! I could not have asked for a better team!! Thanks you all again for the hard work put into our fun shoot. Enjoy the photos!
