Natasha+Clinton | Marshall House and Olde Pink House |Savannah Wedding Photographer Alison Epps

Natasha and Clinton were married March 29th in Savannah and I was so excited for their spring wedding. They are from Orlando, which is where I lived for the first 24 years of my life, and were recommended to me by a videographer friend I worked with often  while photographing weddings in Orlando. Savannah is very much a location brides from all over love to choose for their destination weddings, and it is an honor to have some of my hometown couples getting married in Savannah. Natasha wore such a stunning gown, and we got some great shots where she got ready at the Marshall House. We ventured next door to 45 Bistro for some awesome shots at the bar. We then went over to the square…

Sofia | Alison Epps Photography | Tampa Children and Family Photographer

Sofia is one of the sweetest girls I’ve gotten to know since being in Savannah. Very photogenic, don’t you think? I met her mom, Natalia, shortly after moving here almost two years ago and have loved watching Sofia grow. Natalia runs an awesome Stroller Strides group in Savannah I’ve had the pleasure of working with her several times, photographing for her Stroller Strides groups as well as when her husband, Gabe, was deployed for 9 months to send him pictures of his little girl. One of the greatest moments in my photographic career was photographing his homecoming and the return of all the soldiers from their long and hard deployment. Since Gabe has been back, he and Natalia are expecting their 2nd daughter in July…

Reali Family of Five | Savannah Children & Family Photographer Alison Epps

I absolutely adore photographing family sessions. This sweet family was getting ready to welcome their 5th member, Quentin ( the name actually means fifth, how cool! ). They are a special family to me because, Melissa is my sister!! YEP! These are my nephews Ashton and Owen. It was great to get some maternity photographs of Melissa with the rest of the family included, which we had not done with her previous two children. Photographing children is always a little bit of a challenge when they are at a certain age, and for the most part, the best shots are when you just stop posing and let them be themselves!! My nephews are a particular challenge to photograph being that their T.T. (me) is the one…

French Styled Shoot | Brockington Hall |Tampa Wedding Photographer Alison Epps

I recently had the honor of working with some of Savannah’s greatest wedding vendors, putting together a fun and elegant styled shoot. I love all things French, in fact right around this time last year I was walking around Marie Antoinette’s estate in the middle of Versailles. Everything was of course over the top, which is how we wanted our shoot! What better setting than Brockington Hall? It has the charm of a french estate with gold trimmings and large mirrors and chandeliers. I can’t James and Liz from Joann’s Florist enough for all the hard work they did. They provided the table settings and chairs, bouquets and centerpieces (multiple bouquets.. 3 to be exact..), and designed our scenes for the dessert table arrangements. Not…
